How to get to Dublin

Dublin is conveniently connected to major international airports, making air travel a popular choice for attendees.

Dublin Airport (DUB) is the main gateway, located approximately 10 kilometers north of the city center. The airport serves as a hub for various airlines, offering direct flights from major cities worldwide.

From the airport, you can easily access the city center by taxi or car rental (20-30 minutes), express bus or public bus ( 30-40 minutes) .The journey to the city costs around €30 in taxi.

By Car

Dublin is accessible via a well-developed road network. The M50 motorway encircles the city, providing a direct route for travelers. Plan your journey using GPS navigation or online maps for the most efficient routes. Parking facilities are available in and around the city center, including both on-street parking and parking garages. Many hotels offer parking facilities for their guests (complimentary or at cost).

The Convention Centre Dublin has an underground car park with 320 spaces, 14 disabled spaces, six electric vehicle charging points and a height limit of 2.1m. It operates from 7.00am to midnight, 7 days a week. Parking rates are €4 per hour or €30 per day, with an evening rate of €16 from 6.00pm to midnight and an overnight rate of €18 from 6.00pm to 9.00am. More information here.

By Train

Dublin is well-connected by train, with Heuston Station and Connolly Station being the primary railway terminals. Irish Rail operates services from various cities across Ireland, offering a comfortable and scenic journey. Upon arrival, taxis and public transportation options are readily available to take you to your destination within the city.
